Diagnostic Suite Overview

The Change Gym® diagnostic suite is part of a unified readiness system designed to help organisations see themselves clearly, understand the forces shaping behaviour, and strengthen the architecture that makes change possible. Readiness is not a mindset or a motivational state; it is a structural condition shaped by how load, clarity, capability, trust, and flow interact under pressure. The diagnostics reveal how these conditions behave across the organisation, showing where movement is supported, where strain is accumulating, and where misalignment is quietly shaping outcomes long before change begins.

Each diagnostic illuminates a different layer of the readiness architecture. At the strategic layer, leaders see how well the organisation can absorb and execute strategy under real constraints. At the structural layer, the systems, practices, and coherence of the organisation reveal whether movement is supported or blocked. At the behavioural layer, patterns of acceleration, resistance, fatigue, and momentum show how people respond as the system comes under pressure. At the individual layer, capability, openness, and variability shape how each person navigates change. These layers form a single architecture; readiness is not an event but a system.

The diagnostic suite provides a multi‑level view of this architecture. The Coherence Diagnostic shows how the organisation holds together under load, revealing the conditions that support or constrain movement. The Structural Readiness Diagnostic maps the forces acting on the system, making load, friction, flow, drift, and resistance visible through lived‑experience data. The Leadership Readiness Diagnostic shows how leadership practices regulate the system and influence coherence. The Cycling Diagnostic reveals behavioural patterns under pressure, exposing residues and cultural dynamics. The Individual Readiness Diagnostic and IRVEY illuminate capability and variability at the personal level, providing insight into how people respond to change and where development will have the greatest impact.

The readiness map integrates these layers into a single structural picture. Whether an organisation completes one diagnostic or several, the map scales to reveal the architecture beneath the data. It shows how strategic signals, structural conditions, behavioural patterns, and individual capacities interact, making the underlying forces and constraints visible in a way that individual diagnostics alone cannot. The map turns measurement into insight and insight into movement.

The diagnostics are designed to scale with the organisation. Some begin with a single diagnostic to gain clarity on a specific part of the system. Others adopt the full suite to reveal the entire architecture. Because each diagnostic is structurally coherent on its own and fully compatible with the others, the system grows naturally as additional layers are added. The architecture holds at every level, providing a clear, consistent way to understand readiness across the organisation.

Most organisations begin with the Coherence Diagnostic or the Strategic Readiness Survey, depending on their context. From there, they deepen their understanding by adding structural, behavioural, or individual diagnostics as needed. Through the annual readiness system, organisations gain ongoing access to these tools, allowing them to track readiness over time, strengthen coherence, and build adaptive capacity across the system.

If you’d like to explore which diagnostic is right for your organisation, the next step is a conversation. We’ll look at your context, your challenges, and the conditions shaping your system — and determine the diagnostic pathway that will give you the clearest structural insight.
