Readiness Is Not Motivation

Most organisations still treat readiness as a motivational issue.

But readiness has nothing to do with enthusiasm. It’s a structural condition.

People are ready when:

  • the load is proportioned

  • the direction is clear

  • the system is coherent

  • the expectations are aligned

  • the environment supports the behaviour

Motivation is a spark. Readiness is the architecture that allows the spark to become movement.

If you want people to move, don’t start with inspiration. Start with structure.

Readiness is not a feeling. It’s a condition.
